Spring Football Game

The Weeki Wachee Hornets football team is hosting Calvary Christian High School Thursday Night at 7:00pm.  This will be the coaching debut of the new Hornets HC Chris Cook.  Tickets will cost $6 and parking is $5.

Green and White Scrimmage

The Hornet football team is getting ready for their spring game by having an intrasquad scrimmage.  They conclude spring practice next week and host Calvary Christian Thursday at 7:00.  Come out and show your support!!

Hobbs Gets State Championship Ring

Alexis Hobbs, the first state champion in Weeki Wachee history, receives her state championship ring, pictured with Coach Kelly. Hobbs graduated early this year and will be attending PHSC.

Hornets Sign With Wilkes

Jason McKnight and Shane Davidson, two senior football players, have signed with Wilkes College, a NCAA division 3 school located in eastern Pennsylvania. Davidson and McKnight were both standout wrestlers for Weeki Wachee.

Hornets Defeat Anclote on the Gridiron 20-14

The Hornet football team defeated Anclote High School 20-14 at Anclote to wrap up the spring season.  The Hornets came back from a 14-0 deficit and took the lead for good with three minutes left in the game on a Sebastian Class 25 yard run.  Weeki Wachee will host Tavares High School on Friday, August

Alum Hokanson (2015) Shows Off Championship Ring

Former Hornet, David Hokanson (Hokie), shows off his 2018 National Championship ring he received for being an equipment football manager for University of Central Florida.  UCF finished the season 14-0, the only undefeated team in NCAA Division 1.  Hokie was a member of the football, weightlifting and track team during his time at Weeki Wachee. 

Hornets Defeat Citrus 2-0 In District Play-Off

Behind the pitching of senior Dalton Mosser, the Hornet baseball team defeated Citrus High School 2-0 in first round of district play-offs.  Mosser threw a one-hitter, striking out nine Hurricane batters en route to a complete game shutout.  The Hornets travel to Dunnellon High School, who they split the regular season with Dunnellon winning 3-1

The Weeki Wachee baseball team will be hosting Citrus High School tonight at 7 PM.  This will be the first time that WWHS has ever hosted a district play-off baseball game.  The Hornets finished third in the district for the regular season.  This is their highest regular season finish in school history.  The Hornets split

Militscher Signs D1 Scholarship with FAMU

Senior LeAnn Militscher signed a NCAA division one athletic scholarship to attend FAMU for bowling.  Militscher has a bowling average of 197  and a game high of 299.  Congratulations on continuing your academic and athletic career.  Militscher is the second athlete in Weeki Wachee High School history to receive a NCAA D1 athletic scholarship.  The
