The Lady Hornet volleyball team defeated county rival Hernando High School by the score 3-1. The Lady Hornets improved their record to 6-8. Their next game is tonight at Nature Coast Technical High School. The JV game will begin at 5:30 PM.
Girls weightlifting will begin practice on Monday, October 9th. Practice will begin immediately after school. All physical paperwork must be turned in by October 6th to Coach Kelly to be able to participate. Physical packets can be picked up in the front office.

The Hornet football team defeated rival Central High School 34-33 overcoming a 13 point deficit in the final quarter. By winning this game, The Battle of Hexam trophy returns to Weeki Wachee. The Hornets lead the series with a 4-2 record.

Sophomore Jack Hurst shot a personal best 39 in a golf match versus Nature Coast at Glen Lakes. Hurst will be back in action Thursday at Southern Hills competing against Pasco and Central High School.
