Hornets Defeat Citrus 2-0 In District Play-Off

Behind the pitching of senior Dalton Mosser, the Hornet baseball team defeated Citrus High School 2-0 in first round of district play-offs.  Mosser threw a one-hitter, striking out nine Hurricane batters en route to a complete game shutout.  The Hornets travel to Dunnellon High School, who they split the regular season with Dunnellon winning 3-1

Senior Catcher John Moran signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and baseball career at Dakota State University, a N.A.I.A instituation in South Dakota.  Moran is hitting .328 this season for the Hornets this 2018 season.
