Hobbs Gets State Championship Ring

Alexis Hobbs, the first state champion in Weeki Wachee history, receives her state championship ring, pictured with Coach Kelly. Hobbs graduated early this year and will be attending PHSC.

Hobbs Student-Athlete of the Week

Girls weight lifting state champion, Alexis Hobbs, has been named Lowman’s Student-Athlete of the Week on HernandoSport.com.  Hobbs is the first state champion in Weeki Wachee High School history. Lowman Law Firm Student/Athlete of the Week (thru 02-03)

HOBBS WWHS FIRST STATE CHAMP!!

Alexis Hobbs became the first state champ in school history as she won the 129 pound weight class in girls weight lifting state championship being held in Panama City! Congrats Lexi!

Clemons, Hobbs, Arey are District Champs

Kaitlyn Clemons, Alexis Hobbs and Morgen Arey claimed district championships at girls weightlifting district tournament at South Sumter High School.  The Lady Hornets place 4th in the district as a team. Kelsey Manns, Lauren Stoker and Isabella Enriquez also placed to reach state regionals. Congratulations!

Girls Weightlifting Practice Begins

Girls weightlifting will begin practice on Monday, October 9th.  Practice will begin immediately after school.  All physical paperwork must be turned in by October 6th to Coach Kelly to be able to participate.  Physical packets can be picked up in the front office.
