Hornets partner with NFHS Network

Winter GC8 All Conference

The Weeki Wachee Girls Soccer team had first team all conference selections with Zoie Herzek (DEF) and Marleen Ohr (FWD). Reilley Bain (FWD) and Madison Aldrich (MID) were honorable mentions. Amy Mainella earned Coach of the Year honors. Boys Soccer had two first team all conference selections with Seth Tarbox (FWD) and Lucas Zammit (GK).

The Lady Hornets defeated Crystal River High School, 55-39, to win the first district championship in program history.  The Lady Hornets were led by the scoring trio of Mykenna Corbett (18 points), Shayleese Vazquez (16 points) and Seytia Hill (11 points & 17 rebounds).  Weeki Wachee improved to 25-2, a school record, on the season. 

Lady Hornets Face Lecanto in Play-Offs

The Lady Hornets will be facing Lecanto High School tonight at 7:30 PM in the district play-offs at Crystal River High School.  The Lady Hornets have the #1 seed in the tournament. JV Girls Basketball at Central Canceled

The JV girls basketball game scheduled for 6 PM Friday night at Central High School has been canceled. The varsity game was moved to 6:30 PM start time at Central.

Lady Hornets Basketball Ranked #8

The Lady Hornets basketball team is ranked #8 with a 9-0 record in the Tampa area.
